The Pemaquid Fishermen's Co-op is one of the oldest continually operated fishermen's cooperatives in America!

In May of 1947, a group of fishermen from Pemaquid met to discuss forming a cooperative fishermen's association. Fishing and marine supplies were bought and a co-op store was established.

For over 60 years, the Pemaquid Co-op has served its customers and its membership. Our property sits on 4.5 acres overlooking Johns Bay. Our wharf and dock were built from the get go and then we built a seasonal restaurant so all could enjoy both our lobsters and our view.

The Pemaquid Co-op Restaurant features lobsters and clams and other great seafoods such as Scallops,Crabs, Maine Shrimp and Haddock.

The restaurant is complimented by incredibly beautiful views of John's Bay. In the words of one visitor," I don't just get great lobster here, I get great lobster with an unsurpassed view".
